In line with the expansion and dynamic growing, Rostaing Vietnam is looking for a senior purchaser.

Key Responsibilities:
Search for new and potential suppliers and service providers
Negotiate best prices and other commercial conditions
Cooperate with suppliers/ forwarders/ service providers to make sure safe and timely transportation of all shipment.

Documentation
• To prepare Purchase Request (PR), Purchase Order (PO) and other related documents
• To check and monitor shipment status then prepare related Shipping Documents (SD) to Import-Export team for the customs clearance and shipment release
• To set up proper filing system to store hard copies of quotations, catalogue and information of qualified / approved suppliers
• To search for new and potential suppliers and service providers
• To negotiate best prices and other commercial conditions
Job Requirement
General:Years of experience: : 2 year(s)
EDUCATION:
University Degree, Major in Commercial & Trade/ Economy/ English/ Technical
.PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE OF:
• Purchasing cost concept
• Material planning
• Supplier Management
FOREIGN LANGUAGES:
- Speaking and writing English – Intermediate level
- Speaking and writing French - Intermediate level
- Speaking and writing Vietnamese – Intermediate level is an advance
OTHER:
- Communication skills and Negotiation skills
- Time management skill
- Ready to learn new things and work under high pressure
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
- Background of 2-year experience in purchasing/ material planning
- Experience in international manufacturing company.

Job description
You will act as Junior Engineer on SCE’s water resources projects and will support SCE’s business development activities. You will be in particular involved in an assignment dedicated to the preparation of an Integrated Water Resources Management Plan for the Dong Nai River Basin, which covers eleven provinces in South Vietnam.
Your tasks will encompass:
Consulting & Engineering activities in the frame of on-going & future water & environment projects, in particular:
Data collection and analysis;
Preparation of reports & notes;
Meeting & liaison with Vietnamese Clients and stakeholders;
Technical interpretation/translation from and to Vietnamese;
Support to commercial activities, such as the preparation of project proposals.

Qualification and experience
University degree in Natural Resources Management or Environmental Sciences majoring in Water Resources;
Good knowledge of English and/or French;
Professional experience or internships relating to Integrated Water Resources Management will be an asset, as well as having already worked for foreign companies;
Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment, and to manage & handle stress;
Vietnamese national.

Position based in Ho Chi Minh City from March 2010 onwards.
